Workshop Reports
February 11 – 15, 2013
Once a year at the Banff Centre for Management up to 80 entrepreneurs and small business owners gather to share entrepreneurial experiences. Here, they discuss their business visions, strategies, opportunities, trials, and tribulations with a single goal in mind: to walk away with an enhanced ability to manage their Small-to Medium Sized Enterprise (SME). To facilitate this understanding, knowledgeable mentors, speakers and special guests contribute their own stories of growth to aid attendees in understanding they are not alone in this journey.
CETAC-WEST – Entrepreneur to CEO Workshop – February 11-15, 2013
Summary Report 2012
Once a year at the Entrepreneur to CEO Workshop, CETAC-WEST brings entrepreneurs together for a unique retreat dedicated to sharing collective wisdom and practical business learning. This network-based business experience gathers over sixty participants; including some-fifty SMEs (small-to-medium sized enterprises) together to share and discuss common entrepreneurial pains, challenges, and opportunities. Similar to previous years, participants become aware of the Workshop through invitation and referrals. The Workshop is intended to serve new CETAC-WEST clients with fundamental business lessons, as well as provide continuous support to the growing CETAC-WEST Alumni, also known as the Friends of CETAC-WEST.

Special Edition 2012
The two workshop leaders, Joe Lukacs and Dr. Blaine Lee have over 100 years of experience between them. Joe, who is the President and CEO of CETAC-WEST, and Blaine, the facilitator, have been running the workshop for 16 years. Together with the workshop mentors, they offer the attendees a “guru quality of
help.” I was thrilled to be participating in what one past student had called a “five-day MBA program,” while experiencing some of the most spectacular vistas in the world.
